Have you seen, or tried the Toolbar add-on that Lawrence made?

I haven't tried or used it myself, I am happy with Studio One out of the box, but from what I have read a lot of people seem to like it. YMMV

I've used it and think he did a great job but it doesn't work on bus, fx. and vca channels. My eyesight could be better so I rely on consistent colors to quickly scan and find what I need.

  2. I've grown accustomed to the studio one interface but wish they would expand the color choices with a wheel or sliders. It should also allow for changing the color used to highlight the current tool/tabs etc.  At least for me, not being able to change from that blue color limits the other choices I can make.

  3. Nothing yet but saw this: "Please note that due to high demand, it can take up to 24 hours for ANALOG DREAMS to appear in Native Access. We’re sorry for the delay, and hope you have fun once it arrives!"

Edited to add it is now available in Native Access and the serial number is in my account 🙂

  4. Install went ok for me and I like what I am hearing. I am new to SampleTank and didn't have any other versions installed. When I rebuild my system I am going to also install ST3 Free to go with it. The interface is nice and I was able to figure it out quickly. I also like how it loads other IK synths like Syntronik (the name makes sense to me now 😉).  Thanks IK!

  5. It wasn't being added to my account because I had my browser configured to block popups. Once I disabled it the popup window appeared and I was good. As far as installing, I think I will wait until I see that the issues you guys are having are straightened out.

However, I still might build an obsolete system just because of one of my old sound cards -- a Soundblaster Live! card that has a synth chip on board. Some of those instruments on that synth chip really had a cool sound and I wouldn't mind being able to access them again.

It's been a while but I believe the soundfont files (.SF2) are on the CD that came with the Creative Live! card. You might even be able to find them online.

  7. I also wasn't too happy with the upgrade price and deadline and waited until the last moment. Since I already invested in a number of SDXs for v2 I felt it was in my best interest to just do it. No regrets.

At least they don't try to get you to upgrade every year with the "newest and greatest" version so I think it all works out in the end. Doing fine with Avatar, NY Vol 2 and 3,  Metal Foundry, and the base v3 kits. Really wanted the Orchestral Percussion SDX but have so far dismissed it because of it's price. Besides, a good way to augment virtual drums is to lay real percussion tracks with it.

    $137.44 at Best Service

    Yes..but that's an incorrect price...which is to everyone's advantage

Looks to me like $169 at JRR is the wrong price. Audiodeluxe also has Custom at $149, when logged in you get it for $127.  Thomann has it for $137 with no additional discount. I don't see any product difference between custom and beat producer except for beat producer selects the items for you.
