  1. Only 15 more to the next freebie!!!
  2. 24 for the price of 1? Heck yeah! $35 with 15 Jam Points. You don't even have to install them all. Just the ones that interest you... and they do sound very good!
  3. Yay! V2 free upgrade! And these 30 Snapins are now included for free! https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials
  4. Overall, if you are wanting to find certain sounds to work with, Analog Lab has the best "finder" for sounds. And if you have their controller it's a no-brainer!
  5. It has slowed down a LOT!!! Been at least 2 days since the last level was reached and we hit the extension...
  6. Aha! That must be new. I don't think that was available a couple years ago when I needed to reset them all. I had to contact everyone myself.
  7. Not so sure about that here. The Arturia presets load for me as fast as the NKS previews do.
  8. It appears that according to the iLok terms, you need to activate Zero Downtime on the spare dongle, as the ZD you had was only specific to the original dongle. So it's $30 each...
  9. OK, this book bundle, unlike some of the ones in the past seems to have a lot of filler. I downloaded and looked at the 5-page previews of each one. IMO, most of these books appear to be academic industry studies, or essays on the topics, not actual applied how-to-do books. The ones that I noted to be of potential interest are: Recording Tips For Engineers Sonic Art You decide if it's worth $18...
  10. As with most Humble Book Bundles, some books are dated and some are not. But for the price of one book, there is generally some value to be found in any bundle, even if you leave few books on the table. The website offers links to previews of the books, so you can usually check out the table of contents, the intro, and maybe part of a chapter...
  11. I did notice that the presets in Syntronik 2 load faster! But they could still use a feature like NI has with NKS previews. Indispensable with large sample libraries!
  12. Does that work even if you do not pay for "zero downtime"?
  13. Calling football signals?
  14. Well if you have zero downtime with theft and loss coverage AND a spare iLok dongle, you get temporary licenses to use while you RMA the broken dongle. Details in the terms link in the post above yours.
  15. We wait for the next giant leap for ampkind...
  16. That's like saying Collins is better than Gabriel.
  17. Ran across this old post at Reddit: Your iLok, "Zero Downtime™" AND YOU: a primer https://www.reddit.com/r/WeAreTheMusicMakers/comments/tw594/your_ilok_zero_downtime_and_you_a_primer/ https://www.ilok.com/#!zdt-terms https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager
  18. I noticed that. Which is weird because AR Studio is NX based.
  19. That bit only works if you can log on and perform the iLok activations from the currently activated machine. If the machine ID with the activations is inaccessible (crashed, lost, stolen, upgraded or anything that could have changed the internal machine ID) for any reason, you cannot do it remotely. Your licenses will remain locked to the ghosted machine ID, until the publisher or ILok resets them.
  20. I'm not sure about that, but PreSonus would be the only one to help with that. It's a DAW limitation...
  21. That's a good video, and I have the Arturia Keylab 61 MkII and I like it too! I wish I could help with the Keystep, but to be honest, I haven't got the KeyLab set up with Cakewalk yet other than as a generic MIDI controller. Out of the box it integrates nicely using plug and play settings with several other leading DAWs. Unfortunately, Cakewalk lags behind in the ability to automatically support specific current controller devices. In all fairness, there are users that have reported mixed success using the Mackie protocol with the Keylabs to set up a control surface in Cakewalk after doing some research and homework. There are other threads on this forum with some related info regarding the above if you use the forum search feature.
