    "Remember" _Colab

Thank you very much. It's not me, it's a young guy from England, Joshua. He did a great job I think. Gave the track lots of emotion. Thank you Lynn!!
  2. When I saw the title of the thread I thought about.it and thought of Smoke On The Water!!! 😅😅
  3. Agreed. I never got into Malmstren, but I had to give him props. Phenomenal guitar player. I first saw Polyphia in the video that someone posted not long ago with Steve Via. When I started watching the video I had no idea Via was in it. I just kept watching it because I was impressed and in awe of thier playing. They are taking the two guitar harmony thing up a few levels. A good many levels!! I felt that way after seeing Vai in concert. Then I watch Polyphia and wonder why I even bother. But I got something inside that just can't get out any other way, other than me pick that guitar up and play it. Back to the OP, that is an impressive video. Dynamic and clean.
  4. Still showing lots of white space in your post Shane
  5. Yeah they just kinda get stuck in there and you gotta reach in and clean 'em out!!
  6. I am almost finished with the last episode of this series! I can understand these holes. But the op video? IDK
  7. That was a good video. Mr Martin was a class act.
  8. I still can't wrap my head around that. Knowing what they did, I can visualize it. Having worked with tape myself, (just cutting taping songs together) it's hard for me to imagine taking one track, (maybe even in the middle of the tape!) from one section of a song and splicing that back in to a new part!! And knowing that there was NO ROOM FOR ERROR!!! NONE!! That took some nads. And you were working with upper tier artists that you didn't want to tell them you f'd up and they have to do the whole song over because the tape is ruined.
  9. I didn't!! But I thought I smelt something funny!!
  10. I liked it. Listening on a cheap Bluetooth speaker here at work it doesn't sound bad at all . The clarinets maybe a little too much up front, but other than that it works!! Good job.

    Sunrise Funk

    That's where my thinking went.
  12. You trying to sell me something?!!!

    Smug?

Great guitar sound and chord progression on the beginning of "Life Sentence". Nice solo in there too. I hear some Beatles and Yes influences in there. But it stays unique. Real nice effort. "Set Me Free" starting off real good.

    Ready for love

Yes I enjoyed this also. Good video. Agree with Lynn about the closeups of the guy playing the guitar(?).... well throw a few of the girls in there too!! Good catchy tune. Good playing. Good mix and production. Was that you playing the drums too?

    Sunrise Funk

Vocals needed. Agree with Nigel. Excellent playing. Good production. But mostly a real good groove going there. I like it a lot. Had me tapping my feet and swaying my body.
  16. Yeah I was expecting him to start shredding too.... but that didn't happen! I like the speed up at the end!! Excellent! And then the ice cream... the faces ya'll made!!

    Waves Magma BB Tubes

Nice song. Great playing. Good mix. On my Bluetooth speaker here at work the hihat was a little too loud and really stood out. That didn't stop me from listening!
  18. I am at working listening to the video on a Bluetooth speaker, and a young kid that I work with was coming up the stairs and ask "WTF are you listening to!? Man they shredding all crazy!!" He couldn't understand why I was laughing!! I told him I would send a link to the video. Video was great. I was laughing the whole time. That out take.... hilarious!! Again LT, great playing on you and Mark's part.
  19. Enjoyed the video Nigel. Again it's a top knotch effort on your part.really nice sax solo. Catchy song. Again, top knotch production on the music too.
  20. Amp Room is a good plugin. For $75 you don't get as many amps as say Amplitube would give you, or fx, or speakers. But what you get sounds good.
  21. Boom! Is right!! Must be some quality samples.... from WWII? Evrything was what 2bit 4bit back then? LOL!! Wait, it was all analog!!! So the hiss, scratches...
  22. That looks good!! Up on stage with that would give a nice impression.
  23. I do have Dream Pop. I think I might even have HipHop too. But I was pointing out to others who may have thought like me that the four extra channels were addition mics or placements of mics, that it is not what it is. I am not saying that the synths sound bad, or that it's a bad thing. I am on my phone right now and can't audition the samples to decide if I want that or not. So... no instant buy. When I bought Dream Pop, I knew what I was getting. With this I automatically assumed (my bad) that it was extra mics.
  24. That Kick and Snare Expansion looked good. Each kick and snare has four extra channels added. However, those four extra channels are not from the kick or snare, but from a synth. It is advertised as four extra channels for each kick and snare, leading me to think/believe that it was four different mics positions/placements. Further reading informed me that it was sounds derived from synth modules to allow you to "layer" the extra channels with the acoustic drums. So what I though was gonna be an instant buy has me thinking... maybe not.
  25. Yes, and once registered the WUP clock starts ticking, even if not authorized/installed.
