Hello, I am new to Cakewalk, and I have my own app that manages MIDI and Hauptwerk and DAW (currently trying Cakewalk). I would like to be able to do custom macros/commands (not sure about proper terminology in DAW). For example, I have a number of virtual MIDI channels using loopMIDI, so I would like to use one channel dedicated from my app to Cakewalk, and in Cakewalk based on MIDI note received to do some action, like load/unload VST, or arm a track, or start recording, or ...
Is there a way to do it? I was looking at CAL, but it seems to be only manually run.
