What? Not a single comment? No more rockers there? Shame on you.
Good song with a good voice. The guitar at the beginning sounds original, only if you compare directly, iommi's riff has more beef. Great work, bro!Thank you my friend! I always look forward to your response. You're right about Iommi's sound. That guy is a tone monster! It's hard to match his tone. Thanks so much Harry!

I loved it Rain! It had a bit of Type O Negative feel to it. I thought your voice sounded great, and fit the feel of the song perfectly!

What a coincidence.
I listened to Voodoo on the ride home from work this evening and then I come here and see a cover.
Great job. Some would say attempting a cover of a Black Sabbath song is brave trying to get the guitar correct.
My opinion is a Sabbath song with Dio on vocals is even braver. Nice work.
My neighbors will listen to your cover more than once. If you know what I mean.
Thank you CL2Zero! I appreciate it man! I think you commented on a song or two on my bandlab page years ago. Good to see you again!

Thank you muchly. I've been having a listen to your originals, excellent stuff, love the lyrics 👍, love your style, you've got an awesome voice and great guitar playing. Don't know how many songs I listened to, must have been 6 or 7, didn't come across anything I didn't like or wouldn't listen to again, and likely again, no less than I would listen to any other artist really. Well done.
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen! I appreciate the kind words!

That was really cool Rain! It had a very spooky quality to it that I could see being very at home in a horror movie. Everything sounded balanced to me. I do have to admit that I was expecting some guitar at some point, though. 😁
Great work!

Consequently did a little research, this an excellent cover Bob. Very balanced mix.
Thanks a lot Wookiee! I appreciate you giving it a listen!

Hi
i also saw them in Preston when i lived in the UK in the 70s
they were amazing live
I think you do the cover Justice , Guitar intro is spot on & the Vibrato in your voice is just right
this is a excellent cover & i am sure you are happy with the results
if you like doing covers of classic songs What is and What should never be by Led Zeppelin
would suit your vocal range perfectly & is also a amazing song with one of the best Bass lines ever

Thank you for the kind words! I was in a cover band in the 90s that did that song. Always loved it. Thanks again!

Here's one I haven't heard in ages.
The Loop t-shirt was definitely a blast from the past!

The whole band was great. Dio was definitely one of the best rock singers ever.

I remember when my neighbor bought their Nature of the Beast album in '81/'82. That was my first time hearing them, I think. Loved that album. Crash and Burn was my favorite. RIP Myles....

After their heyday I had a friend verbally offer me an opportunity to audition for Uriah Heep. I had visions of driving from town to town in an old van. I turned it down.
Great cover though, Leadfoot. Thanks a lot, Ed! I remember you telling me that story a few years back. Do you ever wonder "what if"?

another favorite from way back, of mine.
great cover, mick box is just a bit different than any other guitar player i heard at that time...
and trying to sing david byron, is just as hard as trying to sing freddie mercury, or elton john.
it's a task, not for the faint of heart.
gary thain is still one of my alltime favorite bass players, rip.
great job on this one.
Thanks a lot bats! I appreciate the kind words! Yeah this is an old favorite of mine too. Some of the high background vocals were a little rough for these 53 year old vocals cords, but perseverance paid off.🤣 Gary Thain was definitely a badass on bass. They were all great in their own way. It's a shame that Mick's the only one left... Thanks a lot man!

Great job! I saw them back in the 70s - they were an opening act for someone, maybe Jethro Tull, maybe Alice Cooper, I can't remember for sure.
One of the loudest guitarists I had heard at that time.
Steve
Thanks Steve!
