I use cakewalk to load samples and loops all on separate tracks for a predetermined time and I'm wanting to mute and unmute tracks to create a dance track, can the software record mute selections as I'm going along? tia

hi all,no issues with midi recording but ive just got loopcloud and want to transfer my multitrack files onto cakewalk after ive transposed,timestretched etc but when i try i have no success, probably me missing something but can anyone give me a dummies guide on the subject please. TIA
