  1. I started making a song from an idea a little bit ago and it turned out pretty well. Unfortunately, now that I want to add to it i'm encountering this problem where every midi note on the piano roll (and during the playback) of my lead instrument is 1 semitone above what it should be (ie. C5 sounds like D5). Is this a setting or something? There is no automation on the affected track and it's kind of driving me insane. It only happens after my first verse in the timeline, pls help!

I just gave it a try.

I downloaded and installed Vital (never used it before) and set up an basic patch with a low pass filter.

I mapped it to CC74 (could have been any but I usually use CC74 for a LP filter) using my MIDI controller (Vital has MIDI learn)

I recorded about 4 measures of a chord rift.

I opened up the Piano Roll View and added a line on CC64.  The filter opened as expected.

No promises, but if I get a chance I could do a quick video for you.

A video would be extremely appreciated 👍

  3. Today I was working on a song when I thought one of my tracks broke. Turns out, I somehow turned the instrument all the way down in Kontakt without going into Kontakt and it appears to be locked at the very low volume. My other Kontakt instrument is also locked. I can adjust it while playing, but when I pause or stop it resets. Is this a Cakewalk feature or a Kontakt bug? Any fixes? (Video for reference)

  4. I am using the vital vst and I made this instrument that sounds really nice imo, although it makes this awful crackling/popping noise at the start of some notes and I can't seem to figure out why. Does anyone know what combination of effects/attributes causes a sound to pop or crackle at the beginning of notes? I have attatched a short example. (new to music production so pls bear with me if this is an obvious answer)

  5. I'm new to composing and haven't figured out my workflow yet, so when I start a new project I just kinda throw in what is on my mind. The only problem with this is that I often compose the chorus of my song before the intro and sometimes I want to add a section between 2 sections. So I was wondering if there was any way to save a section for later, like for example if I compose the chorus first but want a the intro and the first verse before it. I most likely won't be able to rely on copy pasting it since I will probably end up turning off my computer or copy pasting other things. If this isn't a feature I'm missing in Cakewalk then how do people typically get around this?
