  1. Hmm... not sure a change of website changes whether or not the same binaries that are uploaded to it contain viruses... (or bugs for that matter)
  2. Isn't that because you buy pretty much everything as soon as there's a sale on it? 😁
  3. Any idea how long the products will stay at base price for?
  4. Don't think Kirk Hunter Virtuoso Ensembles has ever been priced so low
  5. I only just picked it up today so haven't really had time to go through it. My initial impressions are that they sound nice, but if the instruments are going to be upfront in the mix, I'll probably swap them out for other libraries; if they're more background 'padding', I might leave them in. My opinion might change once I play with the library a bit more though.
  6. I wonder how the pronunciation of BRAAAAAMS will be done in BRAAAASS...
  7. If you have many orchestral section libraries that each take minute/s to load, it's very useful to have and use a 'simple', quick-loading, and all-encompassing library when initially putting down ideas.
  8. It really depends on whether or not the instruments in that bundle work with the type of music you write, e.g. someone writing mostly synth based EDM probably wouldn't find it as useful as someone who includes more orchestral (though not necessarily 'classical') elements in their music. Personally I didn't go for the bundle, but I already have Mars from the VSTBuzz deal
  9. Good advice. Also: turn on 2FA
  10. I kinda guessed that, hence why I phrased it as a 'greater need' 😁
  11. You can't during the sale: virtual cash is used to discount the advertised price, to a minimum of the base price (displayed in blue, in a smaller font) - as everything is already at base price, no further discount can be applied.
  12. A wise man once told me so it probably should depend on whether you have a greater need for some guitar and bass loops; or a male choir, piano, tuned percussion, organ, metallic impact percussion & effects and beatbox samples. Also, once you have Mars, you can email Soundiron for an upgrade to Olympus Symphonic Choir (which effectively gets you Venus); if you do it within the sale period, you'll get a discounted upgrade price too.
  13. It's an online mastering service - you upload your mixes, and there's some AI wizardry (I think, unless I'm thinking of another service) that will 'master' it for you. A lifetime license will be for a lifetime - either that of the user, or of the company whichever comes first. A lot of people seem to complain about lifetime licenses; I personally see them as a better deal than subscriptions (companies will find another way to survive, e.g. selling add-ons, new users, etc). Even if it lasts a year, think of it as a one year subscription; if it lasts longer, all the more value. Also don't forget that with Windows 10 being the 'final' version, your non-OEM license is effectively a lifetime license (you can link your license with your Microsoft Account, meaning that you'll be able to transfer a non-OEM Windows license to another computer).
  14. Ah, I see... so it's a way of 'extending' the sale, but to also give it a sense of urgency. Their stuff sounds great, but their prices are just too high for me to justify.
  15. So the price on AizerX: Trailer SFX Designer Toolkit (currently marked at 75% off) will actually increase if I attempt to use the code?
  16. or people could pay upfront
  17. Forget myspace, Bebo is the latest, greatest, and hippest platform around! 😜
  18. Isn't Hotmail part of Outlook now? I've got a Hotmail email I opened ages ago and I've never had any problems using it with any account
  19. When you don't think the upgrade feature-gap is worth the money, simply redirect the funds towards another deal 😁
  20. You get a bigger discount the more items you buy - I think I saw somewhere that putting everything in your cart gets you a 65% discount (iirc)
  21. I do too 😁 I've noticed that Time+Space also sell at a similar price, but have a scheme where existing Dronar users get 20% off - a strategy might be to buy one title first, and then get a bigger discount on subsequent titles in the series.
  22. I've found that Audio Deluxe are quite generous with their Deluxe Bucks
  23. Just had a look - didn't realise it requires a dongle
  24. Great words of wisdom. I've already aborted some potential purchases and redirected towards a few others. Also, don't forget to factor in drive space to the cost.
