  1. Hi Eric. That was a beautiful tune, and some really good playing. I'm sorry for your loss.
  2. @PavlovsCat Have you had a look at Audio Modeling's SWAM Cello? It's not a sampled library, but the demos sound really good https://audiomodeling.com/strings/solo-strings/swam-cello/
  3. Hi Esther. This is a great song - I really like the arrangement of the various parts; really good performances too! In terms of the mix, I find that some elements stand out a little, e.g. the first reverse-reverb (at around 1:30), and some of the string parts later on in the song. I think I might try bringing up the piano and the kick drum a tiny bit; I might be tempted to compress the piano really gently too to give it slightly more sustain. I also might try running the background instruments again gently through a compressor to help glue them together, so that you get three 'parts' playing together: the vocals, the background music, and the drums. It all depends on the overall sound you're trying to achieve though - the mix is pretty good as it is; don't tweak it if that's the sound that you're going for.
  4. abacab is right - you just need to go into the registry and delete the key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\<LIBRARY GOES HERE> If it still shows up, you might want to try looking for any equivalents in the WOW6432Node folder too - that's where 32bit software will write their registry keys to using the same folder structure.
  5. It's probably a combination of things - if all the sales hit at once: it's difficult for the consumer as they'd blow a crater in their wallets over the course of a few days, rather than spread them out over a month it's difficult for the web shop as they might accidentally get DDoS'ed from people wanting to buy something, e.g. think about what happens during limited 500-serial giveaways; or even when a new version of Komplete comes out it's probably a tactical move from the developers - if your sale is out there first, there's more chance that someone with that on their list will buy over another product on their list that isn't on sale yet.
  6. Hi Daryl. Cool song! Not the best judge of rap, but the mix sounds pretty good to me - I'd never have known it wasn't really your thing.
  7. Hi Mark. Sounds good to me. As others have said, the fact that it's possible to hear and follow each part with so much going on must mean that the timing's pretty good. Really great playing there!

    Europa - video

Really creative video. The music's atmospheric and goes well - I'm enjoying this series that you're making.
  9. This song's cool Kevin - love the groove! You've got some great playing too. The relatively sparse arrangement really lets the guitar tone shine through. The only thing I would say is that the ending seems a little abrupt.
  10. Great song, Lynn! You've got some really good vocals, going against an interesting and diverse sonic palette - good mix too, bringing everything out.

    Secret Mission

Nice tune and great playing as usual! I know you've got your back to a wall, but when I first watched your video, I wasn't sure if you were lying down (on wooden flooring) to play 🤣
  12. Only for Pro/Sphere - from the product page:
  13. I like the atmosphere of this song, and how the instrumentation captures it - very fitting for Halloween, and of the story. I think the ride cymbal (?) that hits mostly on the 1 and 3 beats might be a little strong in the mix, but it could be my listening environment. Well done!

    Love is Tender

As already mentioned, very nice vocal harmonies - well done!
  15. Nice song, Larry. I like the relatively sparse arrangement, and it musically captures the song title well!
  16. Really nice ambient soundtrack - very calming. The reverb on the trumpet really adds to the atmosphere, and lets it blend gently with the rest of the music.
  17. You could try following up; they might have been really busy/had an IT glitch. Just saying it might not have been malice... Of course if they ignore you again, then that's a slightly different story.

    IK MAX Deals!

Of course - I just meant that at some checkouts, you see messages like You can use up to x points towards this purchase. It's still up to the user to type in a number though, and defaults to a blank box (i.e. 0 points).

    IK MAX Deals!

Hi @Peter - IK Multimedia I'd like to respectfully make a request for the IK team - when checking out in the IK web shop, could there be a readout of the maximum number of jam points that can be used for that transaction? I know I can open up a calculator and do [price * 0.3], but it'd be easier if it told me exactly how many points I can spend instead of telling me that I've typed in a number that's too big.
  20. You could try this from Kilohearts: https://kilohearts.com/products/tape_stop
  21. Very nice, Jerry. The synths go really well with the diverse orchestral palette. There's a tone of splendour and intrigue in your music - I like it!

Very nice, Douglas! Great performance as usual.

    The Gas Giants 4

@Wookiee Thanks for the reply; no worries about the delay. Hope Ms W is ok (or at least as much as possible given the situation).
  24. Certainly a toe-tapper - I enjoyed that! Great playing too. The mix is good, but I think the drums might improve with a tiny bit of EQing. Try a small boost around 7k on the snare, and also a boost somewhere between 10k-15k on the cymbals to help brighten them up a little. It's just a suggestion though - no need to adjust if it's not what you're after.
  25. My suggestion about the bass was about how the bass line itself sounded quite quiet in the mix to me. Despite that, I could feel it (more than I could hear it), leading me to think there to be quite a lot of low end energy. You also mentioned how it didn't sound quite right in the truck - sound systems in cars/trucks tend to have a bass boost. It could be my listening environment isn't the best - do whatever works best for the mix!
