thanks very much. @chimkin2 : my keyboard has some sort of split...between its 37 keys and its 16pads. I'll try to play with keys & pad on 2 tracks @Kevin Perry : good idea. in this page it's explained (https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X2&language=3&help=EditingMIDI.42.html#1357485). I guess this will be my best option

I would send simultaneously low-notes of the keyboard (Launchkey 37) into a track and high-notes into another track . I can record my keyboard into 2 tracks but each track record all the notes. I would like track one recording the low-half of keyboard and tracks two recording the high-half. I can't figure out how to do that. I would apreciate very much any help
