    No Midi Input

I posted in an earlier thread that Cakewalk does not see my recently purchased Korg Nanokontroller2. I followed all the steps to installation as I understood them: I installed what I believe to be the latest driver (2/21); I simultaneously pressed the set and record buttons while powering it up, which I understand puts in "Sonar" mode. (The record light blinks.) The problem may be more general, however, as there is no input to Cakewalk from my midi keyboard. (Casio CDP-100) Cakewalk sees my Tascam US 144- mkII midi interface, which is what I use for my midi keyboard input; and I have it selected as my midi input device. And I know its functioning because I use it in Sibelius Ultimate with no problem. Also, the Tascam interface is what I use for audio output. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
  2. Yes. I’m sorry that wasn’t clear. I was just trying to make the point that Cakewalk was seeing MIDI input through that device. Thank you for your reply.
  3. I should point out that I use a Tascam US 144-mk II interface for MIDI input.
  4. Thank you for your reply. It is set to MME. In fact it is grayed out and seems to be the only driver mode available to me.
  5. I recently purchased a Korg Nanokontroller2. I followed all the steps to installation as I understood them: I installed what I believe to be the latest driver (2/21); I simultaneously pressed the set and record buttons while powering it up, which I understand puts in "Sonar" mode. (The record light blinks.) I have only a midi keyboard connected to my computer. ( A Dell Inspiron 3880, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz, 12 GB RAM) When I open Cakewalk, the NanoKontroller2 is not listed in Midi Devices or Control Surfaces. I tried reinstalling the software. All to no avail. It does appear as a device in Control Panel. Any help would be appreciated.
