I have Syntronic 1 & 2 installed in different directories (on purpose). On my computer, both programs have uninstallers in Add/Remove Programs. I intended to uninstall Syn 1 and never got around to it. Concerning multiple versions of each synth, you should only see one.
If I understand your situation, since you don't have an uninstaller for Syn 1, what I would do is just install Syn 2 instruments over the Syn 1 files.

Valentine's - the day you're supposed to celebrate love and friendships - has become yet another day of self-indulgence.
For those of you with significant others, I always thought of Valentine's Day as self-preservation. You better get them something... or else! 👎😡💔

Thanks, Peter. Working now.

I emailed IKM support inquiring about how we're supposed to be able to get this if we don't get the redemption pop-up. I got a boilerplate response that had nothing to do with the problem. No surprises there.
(Yes, I tried the Custom Shop as others have noted. It is not free for me.)
-
No pop-up here. I tried Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. No mention of the promotion anywhere on their website.

The Floyd 1 & 2 Tributes are exceptional. These are the best Floyd emulations I have ever heard.

What were the sale prices then?
Sorry, bad wording on my part. The 3-packs themselves were not discounted. I was referring to the individual cost of the EBX/SDXs when purchased in a 3-pack. I paid $149 US for the EBX 3-pack ($50/each) and $349 US for the SDX 3-pack ($116/each).

I went with the EBX 3-pack and SDX 3-pack during the holidays. Best discounts I could find.

I contacted GForce to confirm there is no discount for present M-Tron Pro owners. Their justification is that the MKII is not an upgrade to Pro, but a separate product within the M-Tron family. While that may be true, M-Tron Pro owners have no additional incentive to purchase MKII if they are expected to pay as much as everyone else. I love me some tron, but this is seriously too much money for one instrument, regardless of how rare it is.

Intro price £199.99/$269.81 US. Regular price £249.99/$337.27 US. If you are purchasing with US dollars, there may also be a currency conversion fee.
NO discount for owners of M-Tron Pro. 🤬

I had a fresh listen to all the audio demos for every SDX on my wish list. I ended up getting the 3-pack bundle with Hansa, Decades, and Fields of Rock. I agree with Simon that Hansa is definitely more useful for my taste than D&D.

Drat, bought the Vintage Gent for $70 using slices and bundle discount. Could have saved maybe $25 and gotten the freebie if I waited 2 days!
I just purchased it yesterday the same way. I emailed Greg. I don't mind missing out on the discount as much as missing the freebies. There's literally nothing left for me to buy at OTS. I have everything I'm interested in.
I heard from Greg within minutes. He grandfathered in the discount and sent me a link to the freebies. 😁

I think I got it- I didn't look at the "PlusPak" option at $99. I guess that is the way to go if you want to upgrade every year. Their options are not the clearest to understand. 😁
Yes, the PlusPak is the cheapest way to upgrade. The caveat is that you have to do it every year if you want that option.
In BIAB, Help > What add-ons do I have? will tell you if you're missing anything, including the extras that are sold separately (Xtra Styles Paks, etc.)

For anyone interested in the Hendrix addon for Bias FX 2, purchase directly from Positive Grid and use the code EXTRA10 for $10 off. It's not much of a deal but that's the best I can find. Code expires tomorrow.

C'mon, guys. Eric Persing himself said these extensions have "purpose-built custom controls." ... Purpose-built custom controls! You know, as opposed to all those other software instruments with controls that aren't customized and don't have a purpose...
I own everything from Spectrasonics but this is an easy pass.

I suspect this is overkill. They are just covering all their bases. The last step (reinstall) was what worked for me. Didn't have to reboot or anything. The fact that the plugins worked in other DAWs indicated that it was not a redistributable problem.
Makes sense. Going forward I'll just uninstall with Waves Central before updating.

For anyone else having problems with the v13 plugins and Studio One, try this procedure from Waves support. It worked for me:
Close any running apps.
Go to Control Panel > Programs & Features.
Scroll down through the list of apps and select each of the Microsoft visual ++ Redistributable files that you see there, starting from the 2012 Redistributable and up.
Go over each one, click on Modify, and hit Repair.
Do this procedure for all the redistributables that you see there and once done restart the computer.
After the restart go to Waves Central's Settings and run the Waves Cleanup.
Once done re-launch Waves Central and install your plugins again.- 2

Well this is a bummer. None of my V13 plugins work with Studio One. I am about ready to join Fleer.
I wish I had read this entire thread before updating. Same problem here.

Hansa was originally on my list but it doesn't appear to be as popular as the others, although it does have the rototoms and octobans in the Acrylic Kit.

I'm considering the 3 pack bundle, but I have four SDXs on my wish list. I own Legacy of Rock and am looking at these:
Fields of Rock
Death & Darkness
Decades
Rock FoundryI'm thinking of postponing Rock Foundry since it's the oldest and most likely to go on sale before the others. Thoughts?

I intended to wait until Black Friday to upgrade to V8, but it's not going to get any better than this if you also want SQ80 V.

Syntronic 1 and 2 confusion

Don't reinstall the existing Syn 1 instruments. Syn 2 has updated sound files for everything it uses. I didn't have a problem with the upgrade install so I can't say anything on that.
