Yeah, those were causing me some problems.  Spent more time on those cymbals than the entire mix so I kind of gave up on 'em after a while.  Oh, well....

Buying from UAD and getting those $25 thankyous has really paid off.  Nabbing the dbx for $14 was pretty sweet.

I’m moving to UAD from Waves - I can’t believe I still have trust issues with Waves. They really screwed up.  Got UAD Diamond, and my only critique is that they don’t seem to add new plugins to the bundle like how Waves adds to Mercury. Other than that, I’m  team UAD all the way.

That dual engine reminds me of what AAS have done with the latest installments of their instruments. 

It reminds me of those quick n cheap Play Series Kontakt instruments which NI have been focusing on instead of creating real synths.  I don't particularly like any of those Kontakt instruments, however, UVI's sample/sound quality is much higher.

It's interesting how some people have problems and some people don't when using the same thing. UAD Connect is pretty much invisible and I never have any reason to pay attention to it except for when I want to activate and install something. The Ravel Piano installed onto my external drive just fine and it took zero effort to get it to do that.  I've also never had any issues with iLok, and I find their protection highly convenient.

Excited for the start of NFL football. Here's a retro inspired football them with a little synthwave thrown in. Used Solid State Symphony, the Brass and Strings symphony essentials from Kontakt, a bunch of Logic Sampler instruments, PG-8X, Pulse synth in Reason, and a few others.:

I made a version with livelier drums, however it sounded too....drum-y. 

Used Wedge Force Matcha, Halion 7, PG-8X, Dune 3, XPAND2, and ReSpire. Really curious to hear what you guys think about this.

Did they disable the UALURKER4LIFE code or is that just me?

The email we got from Sample Logic this morning states that Morphestra 2 is now only $70, so either I am missing something or the actual discounted price is $90 as it says on their website. 

I would be absolutely shocked if they gave away Objekt for free.  The last time they gave away one of their devices for free was Drum Sequencer, but I believe you had to be an R10 user and then it was only freely available for one month.

Highly unlikely, but you never know. 

For a sec there I thought they might have updated this plugin. 😑

Martin Luders gave this for free like 7+ years ago.  And it's an emulation of the Roland JX-8P.

I think it's good value for 30-ish bucks. I also have UVI String Machines 2 and it takes considerably longer to load the UVI player and then to navigate to String Machines and load that, and then to finally load a preset. I'm not a fan of the onboard presets, however with some tinkering you can get some very useful sounds.

The previous new instruments (Hype, Tubesynth, Electric, etc.) have all been updated with resizable interfaces and the ability to save presets within the instrument (not sure why that wasn't there in the first place).  Hybrid, Loom, Expand and the others however,  are still how they are.

Not working for me either. I've tried restoring my purchases in CS, authorizing it in the old Authorizer app, re-authorizing in Product Manager, and nothing. 

Tubesynth sounds good to me!
