Is there any way that IK could grant all Group Buy participants an NFR license for Syntronik 2 MAX? That would resolve everything!

Alan does mix with masters classes at his Parsonics studio. I spent two days with him in California at one of them right before Covid. The first day was on mixing and the second on recording a band. The band that came for us to record? Toad the Wet Sprocket! In truth I learned more with some online classes with other producers/mixers, but the time with him was worth every penny.

I can't. Reported to the team, urgently. It has been automated the whole time (including the page updates) so there's just a bit of a ghost in the machine. I'm guessing something related to the Promotions page weirdness from this morning but I've reported it so the ghost hunters can figure it out and open that last synth for y'all.

For current Syntronik 2 MAX users the multis were added into both the full sounds installer but also in the "Download Resources" area so I'd suggest looking there and if you don't find them there we'll have to wait for the team to be fully back in order to get the issue rectified. Thank you all for joining or at least keeping up the conversation about this group buy. It was because of you and people like you that this hit the top tier.

They were kind of already dead really after the latest changes with them.. I'll sit everything PA out for a while until they get their act together again. It would be great to see IK improve their upgrade options and actually look at what products you already own when upgrading instead of just one. They do miss the mark there, which is a shame.

I think you're mixing up the cable type ( coaxial ) with the most common type of coaxial cable which has BNC connectors. Coax cables with BNC connectors are typically used for digital clock signals, 10-Base-T networks, and analog video. Both the Lexicon and octa-capture have RCA S/PDIF connectors, which REQUIRE coaxial cables with RCA connectors to operate properly.

one can connect Spdif signal to the Coaxial input on the Roland.

In my experience, yes, MODO DRUM 1.5 SE picks up the MODO DRUM 1 kits. What we don't know (so far as I can tell) is if MODO DRUM 1.5 Full has something (such as a feature, etc.) that the combination of MODO DRUM 1 + MODO DRUM 1.5 SE doesn't have. From what I have seen, it is not safe to assume that just because we have all of the kits there aren't other differences.

Now that does sound nice. Problem is that (a) I already have too many piano VSTs, (b) I don't have enough time to play them as it is and (c) it won't sound that good when it's me at the business end. ? Andy

good question. from what i have seen so far, it looks like 1.5 just has the new kits. i think what you dont know is whether the upgrade from 1.5 SE will cost more than an upgrade from 1.5 full when or if Modo Drum 2 comes out.

Since the current release caused problems for you, have you tried rolling it back to the previous release since that seemed to work for you?

Well, that's not about installing 32 bit vs 64 bit plugin. I'm talking about 32 bit as in floating point vs 64 bit as in double precision. It's about how the plugin handle the incoming audio data and out put the audio. Pro Q, according to a forum comments, uses 64 bit DP calculation internally but the output is 32bit data.
