Im not sure what Im doing wrong but today when I add a new instrument track and select it, my keyboard still plays the instrument in the track above
You can see a quick video of it it here (sorry there's no sound but you can see from the the meter that it's still playing kontakt even when I select the instrument track below it)
Im new to Cakewalk but Ive been adding and using instrument tracks just fine so nothing has changed in my setup but suddenly no matter how many instruments I add it's playing the same Kontakt track. Im sure its super simple but I can't spot it
Help!
p.s. Ive been reading lots of answers to similar questions and the correct answer seems like it might be "make sure the midi track is referencing the correct instrument" but I don't know how to apply that answer. I've also read a lot of very long answers about how to configure hardware keyboard to output multiple midi signals but that seems way off base as all this usually works just fine. I usually just add an instrument, select it and play.
