Activating a license and keyboard shortcut interference

Hi I am trying to register a product I just bought in Cakewalk.  When I load the plugin, it asks me to type in login info, but none of the keys will work in the user and password boxes.  I tried the 'floating' hack, and some keys work now, but the keyboard shortcuts are interfering and triggering Cakewalk commands.  I tried to unbind or zap the key shortcuts, but they still are active (the T key being the one I tried).

 

Any ideas?

I always just copy and paste from my account page or the email they send.
