Garnelenbox
Hey out there! I'd like to share my new EP with you guys. I think I've done some steps from the first one, but it's still a long way. Nevertheless I can tell that I'm satisfied with the result. What definitevly changed a lot is the the use of Addictive Drums 2. I already love the drum sounds. All instruments played by myself, as well mixing and mastering! Enjoy!! freddy j
I listened to "Grab Ya Stuff" and YES, like it. It takes me back to a kind of what we used to call "raunchy rock" feel or better yet it reminds me of Link Wray. Good mix and good playing. I'll have to give the rest of the EP. Just a thought (but it is indeed a matter of taste) perhaps a rhythm guitar to carry the song along and fill some space. However, that might spoil the mood of the song -- so, take this thought with a grain of salt. Well done!
DeeringAmps
I get the raunchy rock reference, or maybe garage rock. Does, as Freddy says, have a bit of a Link Wray influence. I see it in a scene where the “minimalist” feeing doesn’t distract from what’s on the screen. You say you feel like you’re growing, stay at it! Bring us some more. Garnelenbox
Hey guys! Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. But guys I've never heard of Link Wray, I'll check it out! And Tom, I definitely stay with it, actually can't wait to get back into recording. I have a 12 String acoustic with integrated pickup, so I'm looking forward to do some experiments... congalocke
With my musical past I kept expecting, "Gen'rals gathered in their masses," on the intro of the first tune. Like the rawness...
