Hey JT, we're already covered with this one :)

Hi MusicMan, I made my post yesterday before yours, I'm updating the schedule because it's been re-edited, in that case I'll tell you the same, if you want you can delete yours because we're already covered.👍

Are you sure? It seems to say my post was made 14 hours ago (at the time of this) and yours was posted 6 hours ago (edited 3 hours ago).

The search results seem to confirm that too:

I'm not too concerned either way though :)

When you edit, it updates as a new post, hence your confusion.

Editing a post doesn't change the post date, but it adds a "last edited" date. Maybe you had no internet connection when you first posted it 🤔

Yesterday I posted the original, then edited the title twice, which updated the original post to today's date. Obviously, anyone complaining about a duplicate post missed my original post from yesterday. Regards.

Just so this thread doesn't cause other members to misunderstand how it works, I edited both the title of my original post and the body of my original post.

My original post was showing it posted on Friday for me before my edit. (It may show different day / times dependent on the user's timezone)

The post date still shows Friday after the edit I made now (on Sunday here) and are still the same, whereas only the Edited field changes to today.

The post date is immutable and never changes regardless of edits.

Maybe someone else posted it here earlier?  I must have seen it at least 33 hours ago based on the date/time stamp on my "Here is Your New Free Plugin – Magma StressBox" reply.  In any case thanks for arguing about this. I saw the thread about 1/2 hour ago or so which prompted me to update the installer download MagaStress, and activate it!  I might have forgotten without all the hubbub!   😛

CORRECTION: I saw this post at 9:00 AM yesterday (Friday), just short of 36 hours ago, approx. 4 3/4 hrs. after MusicMan posted it.
