[Solved] Pro-Channel Plugin Question

Hi,

Is there any point using the Console-Emulator Channel + Console-Emulator Bus pro-channel plugins?

To my ears they make no perceptible change to my sound + are just using up computer resource which could be used by another plugin.

What do you think?

I mean if it changed the sound like a Neve 1073 preamp I could see the point in using it but to my ears it does not.

Am I missing something or is this a case of the 'emperors new clothes'?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

The effect of these emulators is cumulative and you won't hear their full effect unless they're on every track and bus.

Listening to a single one in isolation is utter pointless.

@thegaltieribrothers as noted by @Bristol_Jonesey the effect is accumulative just as it would be using a desk. In an ideal world a mixing desk should add nothing but that is not the case.

Personally I like the N-Type on all tracks and busses.
