No matter what it ALWAYS copy audio to global folder.. im frustrated already.. this is BUG?

Your response @bertox makes me want to ask the question, you think the use of a compressed audio format, which FLAC is, is an acceptable way to use audio/CPU cycles in a modern DAW.

Especially one that can use 64 nit floating point wave files, at whatever sample rate you decide to upsample to during processing.

FLAC is lossless unlike mp3.  But IMHO, storage is cheap vs. CPU cycles ("every little helps", to coin a phrase), so I'd argue conversion to an immediately usable format (wav for us) makes sense.
