I posted about this before and didn't get it figured out. I thought it must be just that one particular project but here it is again in a new project. I've checked views, hidden tracks, the shortcut doesn't work. Any other ideas? Thank you

I am going to assume you’re using the latest Sonar 2025.

The Inspector has always worked here (with all Cakewalk iterations that had it)

Maybe you have a corrupted Project Template and you need to create a new Template (one where the Inspector works).

If you start a new project and select “Empty” or “-- No Tracks or Buses --”, does the inspector work then?

Just to clarify, which shortcut key are you using? Are your other shortcut keys working? Is it possible your track inspector is collapsed and the shortcut key doesn't expand it? Is the drag bar there to expand it manually? Is it possible that it is undocked and not visible? These are the first things I would check if it happened to me.

Thanks for your responses, a new project works fine, I wasn't using a template because I was just editing old projects, latest version of sonar, other shortcuts work and I'm using the I shortcut, the default, I think it may be collapsed but there's no drag bar to expand it, it is docked and I have the free version so no workspaces, I've never used them. There's something about no drag bar visible, I think that's the key but I don't know what to do about it
