This is my kind of song, not necessarily the Halloween theme, but the treatment. You did something very cool with the vox, sounds doubled somehow in a John Lennon sort of way.

Regarding the video, I'm both amazed and frightened at what AI can pull off. Ten years down the road, I'll be scared sh$tless.

Hi timboalogo, thanks for listening/watching Spooky and your feedback. I appreciate both. My vocal recordings are born from my voice being less that I would like so I aim to cover it up with lots of layers. Allergies dust smoke quite impactful where I live. So the lead has 2 tracks one with more effects, and the other parts that come in and out are at least four tracks each and with various reverb, delay and spacial fx because I like that ha. Im glad you enjoyed it. Impossible without melodyne to line things up and fix thing as needed. I think you are right that in time what AI can do will be amazing and we can only hope for the best because it seems like nobody is really contemplating caution, like so many technologies that just get released into our world and then are sometimes deeply regretted like DDT or Agent Orange etc. It is fun to play with as I have, but it is more than a fun toy for sure. Glad you enjoyed it !

The music: Great Halloween vibe throughout. Interesting use of rhythms and instruments. A little Danny Elfman vibe there, perhaps?

The AI: It's here to stay. It needs to be labeled "AI" in music, video, book, social media, etcetera because if it isn't it's going to create a lot more problems that it will ever solve. Like AI my opinions will evolve over time. Cheers! 🎶 🎵 🎶

Hi Larry T.  thank you for listening/watching Spooky and your positive comment. I am a Danny Elfman fan since unexpectedly seeing Oingo Boingo in Philadelphia long ago, and I enjoy his movie work, so it wouldn't surprise me if my appreciation is in there somewhere! Glad you found my instruments and rhythms interesting and that I did create a spooky vibe musically. For some reason I wanted a lot of percussion in this one.  I agree AI is here to stay, the entire high level economy seems to be centered on it, and it has made a home is just about every facet of everything. Probably some will be labeled, some will not, some will be obvious and some will operate in systems and situations most of us don't even know exist. In my state very soon it will be making medical insurance decisions. Each time I made an AI video it evolved even as I was working on the video. Cheers to you and thanks again !
