Bass Guitar
It’s in the Help menu just like all software. But I simply Googled “Cakewalk Next Users Guide “ and found the PDF.

Select the entire project by pressing Ctrl+A, then launch AudioSnap. Click the Clip Follows Project button and select Auto stretch from the context menu on the right. After these steps, any changes to the project's tempo will be applied to all audio clips. It's important to select the Elastique Pro algorithm in the Offline section. This will significantly improve the rendering quality. This is fantastic if it will work for my purpose!!! I cannot, however, find the Auto Stretch option you mention. In the upper right is a Set AutoSnap Options button, but that takes me to Preferences, where i don't an Auto Stretch option. Could this have changed? There is also an Average Tempo option on the Palette. Is this necessary to set the new tempo? Thanks!!

I'll try again, but the tone was ruined on the guitar performance I wanted to keep. This was expected. I'll just have to record it again at the new tempo (sigh). Other scratch tracks like the vocal melody I played on keyboard for the singer for later came through fine. When AutoSnap is on like this, does it always draw extra CPU? Is there a way to process the snap to the tracks with a new tempo and then turn it off?

You may want to check the clip properties in the Inspector first to see what you have set to render clips with. Elastique Pro and Radius Mix are really good choices. After changing the pace, it is advisable to highlight the entire project and make Bounce To Clip. The context menu is very close to the Clip Follows Project button - a little to the right. In the Average Tempo menu, you need to select your new tempo

Copied from This thread Yes, I had Elastique Pro selected. I had a left and right track for a single guitar performance that got comb-filtery after I bounced them. The source was coming out of a Boss WAZA Tube Amp Expander, which I how I record all my guitars from real amps now. The L and R from the TAE are not quite identical. If I reverse the polarity of one side, it does not fully cancel the other. While they sounded together good before, I think the bounce exacerbated the phase problem. Just one alone sounds fine. I ended up using a process close to what sjoens recommended, and now I have a new tempo for the project. Thanks to everyone!
