Minor annoyance, bell rings when bouncing and very slow backup

Still getting used to the new computer as well as various sonar updates. How do I stop ringing bell sound when I bounce tracks? Also I set my backup preferences but it seems to be very slow in the process, is that normal? Thanks.

What backup preferences? What is it that's slow?

Thanks, does that mean the Bell is a Windows issue and not sonar? I guess I meant how often I save my edits after a certain number of changes. It's not in front of me right now so I forget exactly what it's called. Actually I have one more question and I was just about to edit my original post, sonar keeps looking in the wrong directory to load FX chain presets. Is there a way to set it to the right directory for future projects?

The bell sound could quite easily be a Windows thing

If you mean Autosave, then the time taken to save depends on the complexity of your project: number of tracks, synths. Fx etc

There is a backup option but this is only for configuration setups etc

You can specify the directory for FX Chain presets under Preferences > File > Folder Locations Fx Chain Presets
