Ever read what users talk about on the now competitive DAW that gets a post locked?

Some us it for stem separation.  The rest is for subbers I guess.

AI - it just needs one huge middle finger.

I don't see many fans of it except for stuffed shirt execs.

Here's to you AI - one huge middle finger.

I haven’t yet upgraded to the latest version of “DAW that shall not be named”.  However, I would greatly use the AI stem separation capabilities for breaking down worship songs for practice on the weeks that I play bass or guitar.  It also includes bpm detection which I would also put to great use.

I’m finding more and more ways to utilize DAWs beyond a simple taped deck and mixing board.

So, I've been seeing ai on the side. It has been recommending mic combos, compression ideas, guitar-midi set ups.

For example, with ai help, I switched from using one Rapture pro instance to using 3, two strings routed to each. 6 midi tracks with one channel each. I sent the rapture outputs to a bus. I configured the volume on the bus to an expression pedal on the fcb 1010. I grouped the input echo buttons of the midi tracks and control them all with a stomp on the fcb 1010. I paired the low E with G. A with B. D with high E. This minimizes the chance of having two instances of the same note from different strings sent to one synthesizer at one time.

The ideas are good and specific to my needs.

It has definitely helped me get past some hurdles, all while telling me how brilliant and clever I am. What's not to like?

Like I said, I have been blown away. I just had a watch of the suno video on personas.. good lord. And as mentioned with using your own voice, even with my dulcet tones, I think I can see making my voice perhaps do things I wouldn't normally think of, but hear it in a new context.
