Are you sure you're on the latest build? I'm able to see the Free/All button when the app is set to Russian on our end.

I'm sure it's build 2025.09 - 38.

@mefodia please check if you have access to free loops when you sign in to the BandLab Studio web application. You should sign with the same user id that you are using with Sonar.

Yes, I have access. It's probably due to the installed program. I installed Sonar on another computer, and everything is displayed there: both Sounds and Free! Thanks for your help!

On the last two updates on my DAW, the What's New browser window has only the Sonar logo and no other information about what is in the update. Good that the information is here but something is amiss with Edge browser compatibility or something.

The loading indicator "System memory usage" displays the load only when you hover the cursor over it. When adding or removing VST instruments, the value does not change until you hover the cursor over it.

What's this subscription system?

It is how you pay to use the full version of Cakewalk Sonar.

Do I have to pay for life to use TH-U?

Overloud's TH-U is not part of Cakewalk Sonar a special version specifically for Sonar is included but for the full version you would purchase that from Overloud.

To benefit from the plugins, I think you have to pay. ???!!!!🤑......to infinity.

Fortunately, Microsoft or Google don't do this for their OS.

Obliviously it is the nature of a subscription. You could buy the full version of Overloud's TH-U then you could use it in any DAW and standalone.

Hi

I have several projects that migrated from CbB that uses an AUX-track. In CbB, sound routed to this track plays without problem. In this latest (and maybe the previous one?) update, the AUX is silent. Until I activate Input Echo.

Is this intentional or some kind of bug? Is it a changed default setting?

Also, when soloing a bus, buses that receive sends, aren't muted. I hear the reverb when I'm soloing just the drums bus for example. I can't remember that CbB acted this way, and it isn't the way it should behave IMO.

Is this also a changed default setting, or a changed behaviour in the internal audio routing?

Clarified that I solo the drums bus, not the drum tracks

The input echo always needs to be on for an aux track. It's been that way since aux tracks were introduced in SONAR Platinum.

Downstream buses aren't muted when soloing, no change to this behavior.

Set LinkPFSendMute to True in Preferences > Audio > Configuration File

I have to check the BUS-config then in CbB and compare.

Same with the AUX-track. It may have been set to input echo in CbB, but when the same project is opened in Sonar it isn't and the AIUX track is silent.

I will check and get back. Thanks for the answer.

Thanks for the tip, will check this and also compare to the settings in CbB.

I only want to split one MIDI event

It is possible that Sonar interprets the long E-flat note in the 5th octave as a trigger and selects all other accompanying notes until the end of that E-flat due to the activated grid snap.
