Many thanks!! Any reason we don't have a roll back option, just in case some work is needed on a critical project?

You can reinstall a prior downloaded installer if you haven't deleted it (assuming that that version hasn't expired). It takes infrastructure to provide rollback. We may provide rollback to the last supported version for paid members in the future.

The latest update (036) does not save Keyboard Shortcuts settings. Each time you open Sonar, you have to import your saved Keyboard Shortcuts from the *.kbn file.

I suspect you are using Workspaces.

Remember, by default, Workspaces load their own Keybindings.

Either:

Use a custom Workspace where you have configured that Workspace not to load its keybindings,

or

Set your Workspace to “None”

I do believe if they have an * next to them you cannot reassign them. I may be wrong.

I believe Keybindings the with an asterisks next to them are the keys that have been reassigned from the default to do something else.

I have made many custom keybindings and my Keybindings list in Preferences is chockas with asterisks.

When ever I have done a “Zap All”, the asterisks dissappear.

I did also say I might be wrong, it does happen, but for some strange reason you hoomans get all wibbly wobbly and worry about limb attachments.

Thanks again and by the way this latest version seem to have lass audio glitches (probably due to plugins) and the bounced audio seemed to my aging ears a little sharper, a nice surprise 😁

After the latest update all of my audio exports have disappeared from all of my projects. Also, every time I try to do a new audio export Sonar freezes. Please help.

After further investigation, all of my exports haven't disappeared. Some have and I'm still unable to do new exports.

Audio Export automation is only accurate (for lack of a better term) if Render in Real time is chosen. I'm not sure if this is related to the latest updates (.033 and .036) but I have just noticed this issue after installing them. I have an envelope, on a sub, which fades quickly to -INF on the last note of a song so that there is no audible reverb trail . The automation works perfectly during playback but, when I export an Entire Mix render of the file (not in real-time), there is still reverb audible at the end. If I render the file in real-time, the automation works as intended (a workaround, but not optimal). I originally had an envelope on just the Breverb plug in and noticed this. Alternatively, I tried automating Breverb2 (Pro Channel) in case this might be successful, but I had the same result. Finally, I tried putting a volume envelope on the sub. Also, the same result (which really surprised me, lol!). Not sure what's happening here.

The latest update has disabled Bounce to Track on my machine.

I can run a MIDI track to my drum machine, and it works--the meters for MIDI and audio show activity.  When I try to bounce the two, the MIDI track meter shows activity, and the audio track does not.  The resulting bounced track is silent.   I've tried every kind of bounce to get the track I need, and it's not happening.

I REALLY REALLY wish you had provided a rollback option for this release.  As it stands, I have no way to make my virtual instruments respond to MIDI in a bounce.  Since that's kind of an essential capability, I am REALLY REALLY baffled that Cakewalk let this release go out with such a glaring error.

I notice that another comment on this forum said that he can't export audio.  Coincidence?

I have all my prior installers.  What happens if I use the next most recent?  When I started Sonar up this afternoon, I got a message from Cakewalk advising that my version was out of date and Sonar wouldn't work until I installed the latest version--you know, the one that's got some severe bugs related to bounces and exports?  I feel like I was bushwhacked.

This sound like a bug in BReverb rather than a Sonar issue. Try a different reverb.

Bounce to track is working as expected here with virtual instruments in build 36. Without more specifics its hard to follow what you are attempting to do.  What is "drum machine"? There are no changes to bounce as such in this release.

I've just tested this using both an Aux and a Bus track and it seem to be working fine. I've done a linear, Slow and Fast curve, also did a slow, quick and rapid cutoff with automation - its working as 100%.  Make sure you don't have the send in pre-fader.
