That is where you select Win or Mac and Mac is selected by default. Change to Win and it will download properly
Pragi
There are so much downloads on my OB account and I didn't see the Chordbloom download. The search function doesn't work.

The search function doesn't work. At the top of your account at Plugin Boutique is a list across, and there is a "Free Products" option. Click that and that is where the FREE items will be listed in your account. Also the "Search" for you own products is there also Edited September 21 by cclarry
audioschmaudio
The website is super-slow here. And buggy. When I click on "Add to my downloads" it just starts the download for the Mac version instead of adding it to my account. 🫤 1

Read the comments above and you will manage! I had the same problems as @Pragi above (both cases), though I could work it out myself after some tries. 1

Even though clicking the button started the download directly, it also did add it to my account. I didn't expect that. kitekrazy1
Does anyone stop and think how far we go for something that is labeled free? 1

Yes, and I frequently won't go after something just becuase it is free. That said, I think most of us have a PB account already so there isn't the signup problem. The tool itself seems like it could be useful (depending on the individual) and yes, I had the same "why is it downloading the MAC version" automatically nonsense that took me a few minutes to find it in my "free" section of the account. *Edit I'm not sure this thing provides much value Edited September 22 by Brian Walton

Not for me. If someone recommends something that I always fall for it. I just somehow need another string library despite using Arturia, Sylenth, and a whole lotta other synths. But at least the confusion is now greater if I want to do something with orchestra
Pat Osterday
You can go right to the developer if you wish: https://www.pentacom.jp/pentacom/chordbloom/ I have plenty of tools like this so will probably pass.
Starship Krupa
10 hours ago, kitekrazy1 said: Does anyone stop and think how far we go for something that is labeled free? Plugin Boutique sure does. Their BOGO program drew a LOT of my attention to their site. Not as much now as it did years ago, but 5 years ago, wow. The quality of the BOGO's seems to have dropped, so along with the fact that I just have so many ploog'ns already, the program doesn't get as much attention from me as it once did. I have some great products from it, including things from A|A|S, MeldaProduction, and Mastering the Mix. I subsequently spent money with each of those companies, too. Chord and arp plug-ins are some of the only types that I'm still interested in, so thank you @cclarry for posting the original link and thank you @Pragi for posting the Windows link. I'm sure if I dug through my PB account I could find the entry, but like most of us, my PB account has MANY products in it.
