Fun fact: I'm the proud owner of the mic pair used to record Daron's cabinet on their debut album Pluck (not sure about Toxicity). I bought the set from the late great engineer Gunji Patterson when his family held a fundraising auction to help with his medical costs. It's a pair of Groove Tubes MD1 tube mics, and they still have the printed labels saying "DARON ON" and "DARON OFF"[axis].
