Pathfinder
In Sonar Free tier I cannot get the pro channel to show? I have no doubt it is me, but can anyone explain what I need to do? The circled gray Vertical line is what happens when I toggle show\hide Pro Channel? Thanks
Glenn Stanton
in my paid Sonar, that line shows up if i toggle the PC off, but double clicking on it causes my inspector side bar to minimize. otherwise the toggle is working. according to the Sonar tier differences chart, the PC is enabled for the free tier. so something else is not right . maybe reinstall Sonar? maybe rename your program INI files to .INI.OLD and relaunch Sonar to see if that solves it? you can delete the news ones created and rename back if that isn't it. Glenn Stanton
curious - if you go to your track console view and click on the PC>, does it display the PC strip? Edited September 17 by Glenn Stanton

Hey Glenn-In console view it is there as it should be? My ini file is dated 2011? Is that normal? I do have Splat installed also but I am looking in the cakewalk core folder for the ini file? Pathfinder
OK the 2011 cw ini file was splat-So I found the Sonar ini, renamed it to old. No change? Very weird. For now, I guess, If I want to se the Pro channel(which is NOT that often TBH) While in track view, my 30+ year go to for Cakewalk, I select console view, PC appears. I close the console and the PC remains-but only for that instance. Weird but as stated I do NOT use it that much anymore. Thanks Glenn. Maybe I will try a re-install. Wookiee
@Pathfinder that is not used to display the Pro Channel, it is a handle to resize things. Try pressing D to display the Multi Dock, or use the Views menu to display the Console. If you want to show the PC in the Inspector it is one of the Icon gadgets at the top, I think it is the one that looks like an audio wave.
Pathfinder
I don't get it but after opening a few different projects and then with track view open, show console view, the PC appears as it should. Now, it shows as it should without resorting to console view? Maybe the new ini file kicked in? Anyway, thanks guys, it is working now Appreciate it very much

I assume Sonar's folder would be Cakewalk Sonar or just Sonar.

The horizontal bars between Console modules also allow stretching/resizing.
