0 Paul G
I'm sure you have, but did you scan the plugin? HTH
0 chuckebaby
As long as the DLL is in the scan path (that is set in preferences) it should be scanning it and it should show up. Is this EZ drummer 1 or 2 ? Only thing I can think of is you are looking in the wrong VST menu within Cakewalk. Where are you looking for the VST ? In other words, where are you loading the VST from/where are you trying to load the VST from ? Edited November 29, 2019 by chuckebaby
0 Johnbee58
You have to remember that it installs both 32 bit (if you let it) and 64 bit in two separate plugin folders. ?JB
0 scook
More than that, the 32bit version of EZD 1 does not work in 64bit hosts. Have no info on EZD 2. If using the fefault "Sort by Category" plug-in layout, VST2 plug-ins typically show up in the Uncategorized folder. There is no need to move the dll from the original install path. Just make sure the original install path is in the Cakewalk VST scan path in preferences. While in preferences, try a manual scan with the "Generate Scan Log" option enabled. Check the log to verify the plug-in is in there.
0 Jon Griffiths
Am not sure if it’s 32 or 64 it gives me no option. Will have a proper look tomorrow may even be ez drummer
0 Johnbee58
If it is EZD 2, I looked up in my notes where the .dlls are supposed to be. A 32 bit Toontrack plugin on a 64 bit OS will be located in C:/Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins\toontrack\32bit A 64 bit Toontrack plugin on a 64 bit system will be located in C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Toontrack\64bit. Make sure those folders are scanned. Hope this helps you. If it's EZD 1 I don't remember anymore where it would go. I suggest you consult Toontrack tech support. Good luck! ?John B

0 scook
I just checked EZD v1.4.0 runs OK in CbB. Make sure the 64bit version is installed.
