Hi everyone, please bear with me, I’ve just installed Sonar and I’m trying get my head around it. I was using a different DAW for a few months but overall I’m completely wet behind the ear when it comes to making music on my pc. 

Can you help me understand something with FX please?

I ad a loop to a track and put an flanger effect on the loop. How do I get the the line on the loop like I had on my previous DAW so I can adjust the effect, like curve the line to increase the effect as the loop goes on.

I know nothing so apologies if I’ve described that like a dog trying to explain algebra.

This may help you get started. Automation can be added to change track parameters like volume or pan, or actual effects parameters.
