Fleer
Meanwhile added the Dandy bass (as it shares styles with Deep drummer) and two more Finishers, Fluxx and Dynamo.

Got the 4 pianos, the Cinedream guitar, the Deep, Legend and Phat 2 drummers, the Mellow 2 upright bass, Ufx Delay, Filter & Reverb and the Neo & Retro Finishers. All good. All very good. Feel the opposite. Have so many of these for free - they all sound generic or terrible. The guitar ones are especially awful sounding - production and realism. The drum ones have some need-something-quick utility, which might be cool for $10, but MUCH better drum libraries around for each genre. Have tried demos of a few of their FX - they don't sound very good either imo. Their business model seems to be: build a massive catalog of products as fast as possible. Get users into our ecosystem as cheaply as possible with lots of freebies and "mega bundles!" with lots of marketing hype ("Ziiiimmmmer!!"). Then entice them further into "collect them all!" bundle deals. Once consumers are into the system, push "complete catalog" super deals, and properly milk those customers for incremental updates to all products. All seems about as sleezy as most of the music software industry. Something like those drum libraries should be one Flagship product, with all titles / genres in a single VST instrument. Instead they've got 20 separate different plugins, that all all get incremental updates, meaning users will have to keep paying those micro-updates to ensure all those libraries are up to date. I avoid these kind of developers because when you have a business model like this, it is also reflected in the quality of the products. But for gear addicts, these guys have gamed this very well to milk these kind of customers for life.

Same goes for AAS Strum and SugarBytes Guitarist for instance. On the other hand, ImpactSoundworks and especially OrangeTreeSamples achieve great results. But I don’t agree on your other thoughts regarding Ujam. Their approach is quite original, focusing on immediate use and musical satisfaction instead of a multitude of options and technical stuff that take you away from the essence of making music. These guys turn technical prowess back into musical instruments, and they do it quite well. It’s a great philosophy and I applaud them for it, because they provide what I’m always looking for: musical inspiration. Sonically, I do like their approach very much, especially their Mellow bass and Legend drummer. And the way their Dandy bass fuses with their Deep drummer, sharing the same phrases. Good FX too, and their Finisher multi-FX approach is another dedicated example of their philosophy: no fuss, just great sounds, hugely Inspiring. So you see, I’d love to see much more from Ujam. Didn’t really get their approach when they started, but now I’m a full convert. Heck, I’m a Ujam aficionado.
CSistine
Frankly, I don't like their installation and authorization theme. It made me a lot of headache to put their stuff on my usually offline pc's. Also their intransparent installation without a target path for the sound blobs is ridiculous (you have to move them afterwards) and their installation app ... ! All in all such stuff keeps me from making music and converts me into a plugin plumber as it takes so much time and resources. Hence I guess I pass on this sale, even if it is tempting! Didn’t really get their approach when they started, but now I’m a full convert. Heck, I’m a Ujam aficionado. I'm kind of in between you guys. I spent much of yesterday demoing a bunch of their plugins (on top of the ones I already have) to put together a shopping list. I like some, dislike others, like the GUIs in general, but I just find them, sonically, to be such a mixed bag. I dislike the virtual guitars. The virtual drummers are better, even though cymbals are, more often than not, pretty terrible. Still, worth the (low) price, same as with some Beatmakers. I like some basses (love Mellow, like Royal/Dandy). I'll get Score/Vibe, just for playability and inspiration. As a guitarist, I LOVE the idea of the finishers, they've always intrigued me, as I just love multi-effects. I would get all of them in an instant, but I wish the actual effects were of higher quality. I was demoing them yesterday against alternatives I have/use, and for similar effect chains, even MixBox is just so much cleaner and more transparent, it's really noticeable. I'm still puzzled why IK discontinued it. So I might get some finishers just for inspiration, even though I'd probably replace them on tracks.

Annoying though is lack of direct downloads. Not all of them are there, Sometimes I have to reinstall their Vst3 because all of my DAWs reject them.

While the quality is better Toontrack does the same thing. Their styles add more GB to your drives.  They did the right thing with their Beat Maker where it's one plugin.
Fleer
Anyway, that price Larsy found at JRR is just nuts. I would at least get the four pianos, then Cinedream guitar, Deep and Legend drummers, Dandy and Mellow bass, the UFX and the following Finishers: Dynamo, Fluxx, Neo, Retro, and maybe Voodoo if you’re a guitarist. Yeah, getting Voodoo and Retro for sure, some pianos, also Deep (I have Phat, which I like, and I demo-ed Hot, I liked that one as well). I like Dandy, but I think Royal 2 is more versatile. I've been using Mellow for a long time, it's been my favorite plugin from them. I'll get the UFX's, they're good. Speaking of the deal, they're also on AudioDeluxe. A few $ more, but with two potentially interesting freebies to choose from.

Just in case it contains the 5 you want. You get 10 items for the same price. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/81-Bundles/97-Various-Category/15253-UJAM-Summer-Intro-Bundle-Exclusive-#a_aid=584befef89914 Â Just thought of a hack of sorts. If you were considering the 10 for $99 custom bundle. You could combine the one above with the 5 for $49 custom.(5 must haves not in the intro bundle) and you get 15 for the price of the 10 costume bundle.
