Papa Mouse
Hello dear forum, How to get rid of the red stuff in the image ? If I needed it I will ask for it. When selecting a clip a green line appears in the timeline covering the whole clip. How to stop Cakewalk from doing that since I can not find any use of this green line in no tutorial. Instead … How to set the left- and right locator for the loop function. (The yellow line) This is a function I need to keep repeating a part so I can practice along with my instrument. (Before recording I need to practice u know. Give me a way of doing that.) Don’t tell me there is a button to set the loop from a selection. Since it is next to impossible to have the metronome to tick in sync with an audio track. (BTW … It is called “Tempo detection” somewhere else and Melodyne 5 just doesn’t work. Moving the clip into the timeline, is this a joke or are you guys serious? Why not a button in the toolbar ?) To put the locators in place I have to zoom out this far to find the spot where to start and stop the loop that it is hard to make a selection. Ctrl+num1 and Ctrl+num2 will do or buttons in the toolbar as you do for the green line that has no use. Thank U. You did steal the magnifier glass in the timeline from Cubase too didn’t you ? (Cubase has this tool since the ’90) so … give me shortcuts to place those loop locators. Please give me a clean workspace. Maybe you should look over the shoulders of the developers of Next – Clean, and if I need something I’ll ask for it. Look at image 2, the same setup without the bull ****. I didn’t buy a 2560x1080 monitor for you guy to fill it with information I do not need all the time. I’ll keep Sonar on my system for now, you’ll never know, maybe some day they will grow and get wise.

This green line is showing you the selection range. 21 minutes ago, Papa Mouse said: How to set the left- and right locator for the loop function. The Inspector as a whole can be collapsed with the "i" shortcut. The upper horizontal bars are the splitters for different items that can be displayed in the Track View such as the Arranger and Tempo tracks. These are already collapsed and cannot be further hidden. At the bottom is the collapsed Multidock tab. It's likewise already collapsed. 27 minutes ago, Papa Mouse said: (BTW … It is called “Tempo detection” somewhere else and Melodyne 5 just doesn’t work. Sonar can use Melodyne's tempo extraction features if you drag an audio clip to the Time Ruler.
Bristol_Jonesey
You would benefit mightily by acquainting yourself with the manual for a few hours. The rhetoric & language used isn't exactly the sort to endear you to anyone. 3
