I have not used this new version much till now.

All With UAD 07-17-2024.cwt

File will not save in cwx or cwp format

It is a single track with feeds to many busses. It will save by right clicking on the track but not from the menu.

I know it is a lot of buses. I always start here and delete what I don't need.

@Max Arwood I can't reproduce the issue where it displays that error message here unfortunately.

Edit: I can see the issue only if I OPEN your track template into the project then do a file save as and try and overwrite the SAME file. Please be explicit of the exact steps when reporting issues or include a video, since it's very hard for us to follow otherwise.

If this is how you are doing it, why are you opening the track template from the file menu in the first place? Thats not the supported way to load track templates.
Track templates are intended to be opened and saved from the track menu not the file menu.

@Max Arwood this was indeed a regression and it's been fixed for the next update.

I'm at 2025.07 Build 109, X64 ...

I've been noticing this issue for awhile, possibly even before moving to Cakewalk Sonar paid version ...

I often use the FX button on the control bar to bypass all FX, either for checking mixes, or to improve performance briefly while doing live recording. So to turn all the FX back on, I hit the FX button again ... BUT I've been seeing that often there are a few tracks where the FX bin shows Bypass FX Bin is still checked. It doesn't happen on all tracks, usually only a few of them.

I'm reasonably sure it's caused by using the global FX bypass on the control bar. And it catches me by surprise because I'm not in the habit of checking every FX Bin after using global bypass.  I should say that I very very rarely Bypass the FX Bin on individual tracks ... my habit has been all or none.

Anyone else had this happen?

@Jim Stamper this has been addressed for the next release.

I think there's been some discussion about zoom settings and workspaces previously in this thread. I've always had an issue in the new Sonar where it doesn't remember my zoom settings properly when loading a project - but I discovered that I can just hit the "1" key and it'll pull up the Workspace I'd saved with my project. (I never had this problem in CbB.) Easy enough. However, in the latest update, my projects will now sometimes load with vertical meters displayed (I use horizontal meters) and it doesn't let me hit the "1" key to revert to my saved settings - nothing happens. I now have to close and reopen the project, then the horizontal meters will come back and I can hit 1 to change to the correct workspace. This behavior seems to occur at random and it's not always reproducible.

This is most likely related to this issue which has been fixed for the next release. BTW the number keys change screensets, which are a different thing from workspaces.
