Patrick Stirrat
I've been using Cakewalk since 1991 (not a typo!) from the days it was a DOS sequencer. So I'm pretty familiar with it. I recently bought the Korg microKorg VST, and would like to configure it as a vocoder. For some reason I am unable to find the magic path that lets me either route audio from one track into its input as a soft synth, or route a midi track to it as an FX. I've used other similar products (such as Ovox), so I generally get the routing concepts. However, I can't seem to figure this one out. Has anyone had success? I can get vocoder mode to work when I run the standalone version (outside of Sonar). Korg has configuration info on their website for a bunch of different DAWs, just not Cakewalk/Sonar. thanks
Noel Borthwick
That plugin doesn't properly follow the VST3 spec for exposing plugin sidechains. We'll look into whether we can do a workaround for such plugins.
