Russell Alexander
Hi, Sorry if this question has been asked, but I just had eye surgery so it's tough to look through all the posts (and search wasn't helpful in this case). I've been using Cakewalk since DOS 2.0 (yes, you read that right. When it was 12 Tones). I've done all of the upgrades, including Sonar Platinum. Eventually I got CBBL and kept it updated. I have lots of plugins and all the previous samples/instruments/etc. from older versions. So, I'm installing the new Cakewalk Sonar, free version first (to test it). Do I need to install the Studio Instruments and Drum Replacer, as I already have those installed from older versions? What about Pro Channel stuff, of which I have quite a bit? Will it all be recognized? Thank you for your help! - Russ
Bristol_Jonesey
No, you shouldn't need to reinstall anything which is still on your pc Everything else should be recognised Take note of any messages that you get during installation. Choose "Yes" if it offers to import settings from a previous installation. If anything does appear to be missing, come back and let us know Do NOT uninstall any previous version
