It's crap.

Well, I'll give it a try (probably later tonight). MMMV

I don't think I've ever seen this plugin on sale before today. I do remember wanting it in the past, but wasn't willing to pay full price for it. But at $8 (10% off coupon with another $1 off using DeluxeBucks), it was a no-brainer for me.

It was on sale for a tenner a few years ago on PB and I didn’t get it. Regretted it and waited and waited and waited until it finally came up on Audio Deluxe for a tenner again. Bought it straight off. It’s really hard to get it set. All notes feedback at the same pitch and don’t sound natural. Maybe you’ll be able to get better use of it than me. To all intents and purposes though any “feedback” I’ve seen from others has been negative. But then again, the Audiothing freebie is probably worth the money.

Thanks for the feedback, guys (pun intended) :D

Tried it last night, and I agree that it doesn't sound great. But I didn't expect it to sound like I was standing in front of a real guitar cab either. I find I got some results that I like when setting the mix knob somewhere between 8 and 9 o'clock and the feedback just below noon. It added a hint of that (one) higher harmonic to sustained notes that I know I'll be able to use. It's worth the $8 for me, but I'm glad I didn't buy it at full price.

I'll have a look at the other options listed above.

I've long considered this Softube's worst.  Unless you like your guitars to sound like whales dry humping in the backseat of a Daewoo in a dairy queen parking lot after hours.

I was going to pass on this, but now I'm interested in hearing what that sounds like -- it might be exactly what's needed for a ballad a client brought in.
