Can we install Sonar Free Tier separately from full membership tier?

Er, if you paid for a subscription, why would you want to use the slightly cut down version of Free Tier?

Bear in mind also, it's the same piece of software, and if a membership is detected, the locked items would become unlocked.

I can't see how you could have access to both (unless you had 2 Bandlab accounts)

To use both versions, you need two separate BandLab accounts. I do have a paid membership, but to be able to test both versions I also have a separate user account to be used with the free tier. The currently logged on user determines which verson of Sonar will open. In fact, there's only one binary version of Sonar; the features available will be determined at runtime by the logged on user's credentials.
