All you need to do is sign in to activate (assuming you're running the latest Sonar) and you'll be able to save.

Bandlab saved us from the wreckage and actually made CbB available for FREE for 7 years Now the business model has changed, CbB will be discontinued. In its place you can either: Carry on using Platinum Use Sonar free tier Pay a sub for Sonar Premium Find another DAW It's that simple
TheSteven
This topic has been hashed and rehashed so many times since Bandlab acquired Sonar that it is surprising that any of this is new information to anyone. If you search* the Cakewalk forums you can find threads of endless whining about this very subject. * WARNING! Browsing toxic forum threads can be hazardous to your health. Prolonged exposure has shown an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and actions, especially in children, adolescents, young adults, and people under 95 - particularly during the initial hours of exposure. Symptoms can include agitation, confusion, sweating, tremors, rapid heart rate, paranoia, incoherent speech and/or babbling, upset stomach, loose bowels, profuse swearing, obsessive trolling and a decrease in your ***** life. Who is forcing you into getting a sub ? 7 + years of a free DAW, and you’re complaining ? Are you trolling ? @Wookiee, please stop this.

Go to talk to Gibson they still own Cakewalk Inc, and the products, SONAR Platinum, Professional and Studio, by Gibson. It was them, Gibson, that took your money not Bandlab Technologies. 2. Bandlab Technologies only purchased the intellectual property rights to the code. They did not buy the company or its debts, or its commitments. Consequently they owe you absolutely nothing whatsoever. 3. You are under no obligation to purchase a subscription to any product from any company. 4. As you have have had this account since January 2019 you know all this already, as it was discussed extensively from April 2018 when Bandlab released the first version of the free CbB. One can only conclude you just want to stir the brown sticky stuff. If that is so go talk to owners of the product you are making an issue about Gibson Inc.
