Howard B Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM Share Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM I did a clean install of Windows 11 on my notebook yet 47 residual cakewalk entries remained in my registry. Hardly a clean install. I even deleted every partition on my drive. I'm not sure if that's a Windows issue or cakewalk. Definitely not jiving with my OCD lol
John Vere
When you say clean install did you reformat the drive? That’s the ultimate clean install. But just last February I did the re install window s 11 using the one that warns you that it will delete all of your software. It seemed to nuke everything. I did it because I had installed Sonar Home Studio and it totally trashed the whole Cakewalk thing. I also had installed a few demos of other Daw’s and they all left behind a lot of crapp. I like starting fresh every once in awhile.
