CbB 2019.09 -> Sonar 2025.07: audio glitches when clicking on tracks while project plays, ProChannel likely culprit

I seem to recall this having happened to me at least once way in the past, so I must have hit Pause accidentally more than once in my life

I have this exact same problem (ever since I switched from CbB). I hope u get it worked out so I know how to fix it.

I also have one more problem...

The shortcut for gain adjustment(ctrl+ drag) only works the first time I try it, then it becomes unresponsive and says "- INF " . I have to first move the clip in somekind of way then it will let me adjust the clip gain again. I'm guessing this is unrelated to the audio glitching I just wanted to mention it in case u have the same issue with the clip gain shortcut.

Noel fixed it (I confirmed this is no longer an issue in a test build), so just wait for the next public release.

As for the clip gain... for me clip envelopes have been unreliable and since I've been on 2019.09 for ages I just learned to live without them. Once I switch to Sonar for good (i.e. when my copy of CbB expires) I might try them again.

Thanks Jan. Nice to know a fix is on it's way. And yeah, there are worse problems then clip gain shortcut not working. (But man it worked flawlessly in CbB. I was spoiled to it 😁)
