treesha
Intro reflects stress – a greeting well done. Nice guitar sounds and work and an interesting mix of how you use them throughout. The mix sounds good. Great song very well done all around ! Has some angst but its not really dark more like rocking through troubles. Really enjoyed it
SUPAREELS
Hi Kev, Well, firstly and most importantly I hope you knock those curve balls out the park ! You have a really good song here and those lyrics get you thinking, and that's a good thing .. you know I have a few favs here on CW and your up there with the best singer songwriters, so good to her your voice and range .. and that's my problem. IMO they're just to low in the mix. I feel they could be just more predominant so as to make the work more aggressive .. which I feel you wanted from the listener .. Hmm don't know, .. just my feeling 🤪. The chops are great, the guitar/ drums etc, are great but I wanna hear more of you in the mix .. easy done I feel but I'm the only one hearing this so it's just my opinion ... Another mix to sort it out .. maybe ?? Where the hell is Gary when I want him LOL Stay well my friend Regards Steve (SRM)

I conceived this song as an amplifier-driven primal scream that, once out of you, allows you to get up and keep going. I very much like the idea of rocking my way through it, that's a great way to put it 😀

I'm really gratified to make your favorites list! 🥳 I'm happy to try as many mixes as it takes, my hearing is impaired so I don't really have a lot of confidence in anything I do. @garybrun did offered to do a mix for me quite a while ago on my song, Brand New Day. It was really good but l forgot I had it after life intervened and I had to change my focus. I need to find that and post it here, as I recall he did an excellent job, and did things that never occurred to me to do. He's quite good! Kevin Walsh
I posted another mix to try to get the vocals to pop a bit more. To get there I had to re-record some less than decent vocal parts. Thanks for listening and helping me get this song into a workable state, guys.
bjornpdx
Sounds like a professional production to me, Kevin. Really like the vibrato whatever on the guitar tho it seemed like it was panned a little too much to one side? And oh yeah, the car bouncing over your tomb line - great stuff! -Bjorn

I'm kind of clumsy with the automation. Thanks for listening!
