Is there a way to change the full track color in Sonar like it is in Cakewalk?

I have avoided using Sonar because I rely heavily on track colors. Sonar only colors a sliver of the track on the left while cakewalk colors the entire track. Is there a way to make Sonar color the entire track like in Cakewalk? See my examples below.

You can click the second vertical bar and it gives you a colour picker:

There's a setting in Preferences to show track strip colors same as previous versions.

I don't see this second vertical strip. See my original screengrab of Sonar. It's not there either. I am on the latest version of Sonar.
