Chadtindale
I know it's asking a lot. I know I should've changed environments years ago... but I didn't. Years ago, I invested a ton into voices for Cakewalk Sound Center. I've been able to keep it working on Cakewalk by Bandlab. So am I about to loose all of my keyboards and synths? Or will Cakewalk Sound Center still work on Sonar?
Chadtindale
Okay, I got it working. Had to reinstall an OLD 2013 version of Cakewalk, and just use the advanced install to only install Cakewalk Sound Center. But... it looks like I can keep using it. Now to reinstall all of my effects VSTs to the new Sonar. Not liking the 15 second delay on starting up in order to view an add for the subscription. Like... I'll probably subscribe, but this is pretty *****ed. I won't switch to Adobe Audition, but I may switch to something. I miss Cakwalk Sonar. This is not a great impression of that tremendous software. Bristol_Jonesey
You shouldn't have to reinstall anything. If those plugins were on your system before, Sonar will pick them up on installation. The only thing you might have to do is revisit the paths referenced in Plugin Manager.
