cakewalk won't save file and won't login... version prior to the 7/2025 version....

I am under the impression that I am going to lose some of what I am working on because I didn't update sonar or because sonar will not let me update the software login...  I am logged into bandlab and it will not save as or log the software in...  From the screen it looks like you have started charging for the software without giving and warning.

The subscription for Sonar Premium has been active for over a year. Where have you been.

It was recently announced that Cakewalk by Bandlab is set to be phased out from August 1st

But there is now a FREE version of Sonar which is exactly the same as Sonar Premium but with a few features disabled.

Make me realize that if you are not a frequent visitor to this forum or the Facebook groups you will probably have no clue what has happened over the past 2 years.  

As example I have used Waveform for more than a year now and I don’t even know if they have a user forum? 

The fact they just put a message in the Cakewalk toast notification is probably going to be a surprise to a lot of users for a long time to come. 
A lot of people don’t open software for months and even years if they are not active in creating music at the time. 
There will be hundreds and possibly thousands of Cakewalk users who are going to sit down a month or more from now and see the “So long it’s been good to know you “ message for the first time.
