Duplicating an audio track.

Is it possible to duplicate an audio track? 

I have tried to do it as if it was a midi track, ( create midi track..copy and paste ),  but it does not seem to work that way.

I am working on a project and would like to have the exact same guitar part on two different tracks so I can pan one on the right and one on the left.

In track view, click on the number on the track or tracks you wish to duplicate, then Right-click, then select Duplicate Track. Lots of options to pick from. Want to duplicate only the effects? Then click the Effects checkbox. Want the audio? Click the Events checkbox.

The easiest way of doing this is just right click the empty space below the number of the track you want to duplicate, and choose Duplicate Track from the menu, and tick the boxes in the next screen. Please note that right below is the Delete  command, so you don't want to be hitting that by accident.

You can do that two ways (or at least how I do it).

1.  Copy the entire track and paste it into a new track.

2. Bounce the track to a new track.
