I thought they would be really bad, as they aren't giant installs, which often means pretty average when it comes to pianos, but some of the freebies really surprised me. I'm not sure if its a combination of samples and modelling, or he just worked out some nice tricks to make them sound better for such a small amount of disk space. But I've enjoyed playing the free ones, so for that price it's easily worth it for me. Sometimes different options just inspire different ideas, so I don't mind having a few.

Not sure if that's the one I liked or not, but it should give you some idea either way. Then of course the Pro versions will be better, so good to keep that in mind too.

The Lite versions have a tiny footprint (<50 MB) so they don't have proper samples. They sound surprisingly good though and are a great choice if you need a decent piano for an old/slow computer.

The Pro versions have 5-8 GB of samples which are renamed .wav files (the samples load pretty slowly, but that's the only negative thing I can say about these pianos). They're very good for the price and the plugin and its UI are great too.
