GlennP
I keep getting asked by new users in my town if DimPro and Z3ta will ever come back. anyone with knowledge on this subject?
scook
Nothing official, however; it is unlikely either of those plug-ins will return. While both synths were bundled with SONAR Producer/Platinum; they were not available separately for some time. DimPro was folded into Rapture Pro and Z3ta+ was replaced by Z3ta+ 2. There was some discussion about Rapture Pro immediately after Banlab purchased the IP but there has been no mention of any product other than CbB since that time.
GlennP
Thanks scook I did mean Z3ta+2 and forgot to add Rapture what a shame and a waste as I still find this trio awesome regardless of the DAW I'm using
Alan Tubbs
Great synths and I don’t know why they don’t rerelease them. Bandlab has done a lot of good if not flashy work with cake. Although they haven’t said anything about synths, an updated rapture would garner a lot of press and make many of us happy. Whether it would make money and be worth it to bandlab with their free daw is another question. That market is pretty saturated. But even with all the NI stuff and assorted synths I’ve collected rapture is a go to synth.
User 905133
I hope that if they do update the rgc/z3ta+/DimPro/RapPro line they include the ability to funnel audio from other sources through the FX (like z3ta+ 1.5) .
Magic Russ
Rapture Pro unfortunately got off to a rocky start. Maybe not quite as bad as Massive X, but it did come out with a lot of issues that generated some ill will. Fortunately they fixed a lot of the issues, but the interface is still less productive than the OG Rapture. At its heart, though, it's still a pretty decent synth capable of a wide variety of sounds.
