Guitar Pro is on sale till 3 December on their main web site and some retailers. I seem to recall seeing an "only from us" comment somewhere but cannot find it now on their main site, then I saw the identical price ($55.95) at Sweetwater. EDIT: DOH... it is in the green banner on the main page! LOL... added all that to the OP. I only caught this because I had added the url to a wish list when I realized I do need the ability to edit the gpx files for AmpleSound.
